Rotary Service Connections

28 August 2013

Dear Rotarians,

It’s here! Rotary’s website has a new look and new tools to help you make personal connections, exchange ideas, and collaborate with others from the convenience of your computer or mobile device.

My Rotary

When you visit the new rotary.org for the first time, you’ll be seeing the public-facing version of the site. To enjoy the full functionality the site has to offer for members, you’ll need to create a profile in My Rotary. Visit www.rotary.org/myrotary to get started.

Are you logged in to My Rotary? Good! Now you can fully explore an array of new social tools that will enable you to converse and collaborate with other Rotarians and Rotaractors.

Join (or start) a conversation

You can join groups to discuss common questions, learn new things, or connect with new friends who share your interests. Lend your voice to the Rotary conversation. If you don’t see a group to meet your needs, consider starting one! You can also connect directly with other Rotarians and Rotaractors.

Collaborate on a service project

Our new crowdsourcing tool enables clubs to share their project plans, find partners, and request volunteers, funding, and materials to enhance their capacity to serve others. Browse projects in need of assistance or post your own project to find supporters. Start here to bring good ideas to life!

Publicize your projects and activities

Rotary Showcase is a social networking tool that lets you share your service projects with others in Rotary and with the general public. With recent enhancements and more than 3000 projects already shared in its first year, Rotary Showcase is more robust than ever. Help tell our Rotary story by sharing your club’s impact.

Please feel free to share this message with Rotarians and Rotaractors in your network. For more information, contact social@rotary.org. We look forward to connecting with you!

Sincerely,

Adelita Hernandez and Mohamed Shedou
