Getting to Zero 2014 Microfilm Contest (Rotary Club of Queensway)
Dear Fellow Rotarians and friends,
The Rotary Club of Queensway cordially invites you to participate in the “Getting to Zero” – 2014 Microfilm Contest for Hong Kong Youth,” jointly presented by the St. John’s Cathedral HIV Education Centre and the Hop Yuen Charitable Foundation Fund, supported by our Club, the Rotary Club of Queensway, UNESCO HK Association and the Life Encouraging Fund Ltd.
Recent statistics have shown that half of all new HIV infections occur in youth aged 10 to 24 years old. It is vital that we are able to reach this sector in our future campaigns for any effective HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness work. To that end, we have created this microfilm contest for Hong Kong Youth in hopes of attracting the younger population to participate. We welcome applicants aged between 15-35, to form teams of no more than 12 people, to produce microfilms with the theme of “Zero New Infections, Zero Discrimination and Zero AIDS-related Deaths.” Further details are in the invitation and application form enclosed or available on the official website at http://www.sjhivctr.com/film/.
Please encourage members of your youth network to participate in this contest. Thank you for your assistance!
Yours in Rotary,
Bonnie B. Wong
