Dear all,

You may have received notice that Callie Czerkie, RI Grants Officer overseeing our district will be in Hong Kong and she has kindly offered to meet with our Rotarians and share with us her experience in handling grant applications from our region. The district has organized a dinner meeting to be held on 20 May immediately after the Joint Secretary Meeting. This will be a good opportunity for those clubs which have successfully, unsuccessfully or are planning to work on a grant project, be they global or district grant, to listen to Callie the key issues and problems that clubs face as well as to share our concerns and challenges while working on the application under the new system. For those who have not registered for the event, please do so now. I would suggest all the current AGs and incoming AGs to attend this event as well since this will strengthen your foundation knowledge and your ability in advising and supporting your club presidents. Also, current club presidents and foundation chairs, please invite your counterparts in the coming year to join as well.
